The Hawaiian Night hosted on Saturday 24th August turned out to be a very enjoyable evening. Most the members and guests in the Club came dressed in very floral and colourful shirts, tops, hats and, of course, grass skirts. One enterprising member even had a homemade real coconut shell bra, which was probably quite itchy by the end!

We enjoyed Hawaiian style music for most of the night; alongside plates of Hawaiian pizza, for which many thanks go to Pat and Christine for supplying and cooking them.
Near the end of the evening we had the fancy dress competition judged by our Vice Chair Gillian. Congratulations to our winners; in first place came Pat Fisk, with second place awarded to Christine Sanderson.

Many thanks to all who made a big effort to make the night a great success. The next themed night will hopefully be a 40's night; more information to be announced soon.

Dougie Block, Social secretary.
